About The Staff at the Legal Resource Center

Don Steward
Mr. Steward has a Master of Counseling degree from the University of Phoenix and a B.S. in psychology from Arizona State University. He worked as a paralegal and law clerk in California and Arizona for several years before starting Vantage Group, Inc., a licensed insurance adjusting firm that specialized in evaluating and negotiating personal injury cases. He joined Legal Resource Center in 1994, and is currently a managing partner and paralegal with the organization. 

In 2002 Mr. Steward was appointed to the Arizona Supreme Court Ad Hoc Committee on the Unauthorized Practice of Law, where he co-developed the Nations first Legal Document Preparer’s Certification Program.  Mr. Steward is a Charter Member of the Arizona Association of Independent Paralegals, the 2002-2003 Vice President, and 2004 President.

He has co-authored self-help legal kits for sale to the general public on various legal topics including divorce, personal injury settlements, adult and minor guardianships, informal probates, termination of parental rights, and juvenile dependency petitions.

Areas of Focus: Living Trusts, Wills, Probate, Divorce, Premarital Agreements, Civil Litigation (justice and superior court), Garnishments, Motions, Non-Profit Corporations, Professional Corporations, Personal Injury.

Pat Steward
Ms. Steward is a graduate of the School of Mortgage Banking and has an extensive background in finance and management. She was co-owner of Vantage Group and co-authored the Accident Injury Settlement Kit and numerous other self help kits. She previously owned a business that specialized in obtaining project approvals for real estate developments through various governmental entities. She was an appointee to the Arizona Foster Care Review Board and is past President of the Arizona Mental Health Association. She has been recognized by Who’s Who of American Women and Who’s Who in Finance and Industry. Ms. Steward is a co-owner of Legal Resource Center.

Areas of Focus: Bankruptcy, Divorce (including modifications and enforcements, Qualified Domestic Relations Orders, Business Sales, Corporations, LLC’s, Real Estate transactions, Juvenile (including guardianship, termination of parental rights, adoptions, grandparent’s rights, and custody by non-parents).

Sandie Anderson
A pioneer in the Legal Self-Help business in Arizona, Ms. Anderson established one of the first legal document preparation businesses in the state of Arizona. She has led seminars for people from all over the nation who wished to start their own document preparation businesses. Ms. Anderson was selected by the American Bar Association to represent the document preparation industry on a panel regarding alternative legal methods available to the general public. She majored in political science and was selected as the Academic Woman of Distinction at her University. Ms. Anderson was also a founder and past President of the Independent Paralegal Association of Arizona.
